[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] The Little Flower Shop ( Raffles Place, Lau Pat Sat)

by - Wednesday, January 21, 2015

My sweetie and I spent a lovely afternoon sipping tea like TaiTai ( aka rich lady. Rather, she is but I am not). Anyway this cosy little flower shop, tucked in a corner right in Lau Pat Sat, brings Woos and Ahhs to every girl who adores sweet and beautiful things in life. Not only do they sell flowers, they have a little cafeteria area as well. Though we didn't smell any floral fragrance, but the ambience was sweet and cherry enough to brighten our day.

Here's My sweetie ger with the ever so friendly crew.

Here's the England/ French inspired floral style set up. Pretty in pink to delight ever females and the little girls in all of us. Isn't this oh-so-cute!!

Right in a floral inspired cafe, we cannot miss out on the flora teas and sweets.
The Flowery Macaron set $13.90
Comes with 3 macarons and a choice of tea.

There are 8 types of flora tea to choose from and fret not, the friendly staff will help to recommend your preference taste.
1 individual cup of  hot tea $3.50.
Tea was fragrant and soothing, which complimented well with the sweetness of macarons.

After snapping about 100s of photos ( just exaggerating) and despite our unwillingness to break them into pieces, we had to part with these pretty treats and filled them into our stomachs.

Ground Macaron Breaking ceremony.
Hibiscus in yellow, Peach Flower in green, Eden Rose in pink. Love love love!

This mini cafe only serves light bites ( sandwiches) and sweet treats, and is not a place to feast if you are hungry.

For purchase of flowers, step right up to the next door.

If you are in the Raffles place area and need a little respite from the hectic busy work, take some time off and wind down with some floral tea and sweets at this cafe.
