Bing-Toast
We dropped by for a little afternoon tea-break at Cafe Bene — the highly successful Korea dessert chain famed for it's Bingsu. As promised, the interior did not fail to impress with the comfy cushy ambience.  Desserts wise we had the limited edition chocolate Bene Bingsu and the Mango Honey Bread, which is essentially thick toast slashed into cubes and spread with mango puree, honey and topped with a vanilla ice ream and almond flakes to cool your heart.Though it was not as buttery or crispy as After You's in BKK, it was still quite a happy treat to have nonetheless.
Give me a toast anytime.

For the Chocolate Bene Bingsu it was really just a mix of shaved ice ( not as fine as what we would like to have in a Bingsu, unfortunately) topped with brownie cubes and lots of chocolates. I would say this tasted pretty medicore. Still believe in authentic Bingsu houses for fine smooth ice desserts, Singapore has plenty of them now.
I wouldn't say I will visit them again specifically for the items on the menu, at least not in Singapore, but rather this is a sweet place to whilst your time away in peace.
