My Hair Treatment Experience at Yoon Salon
Well, ever since my last perming job, I have been experiencing dry, frizzy hair which easily leads to breakages. I was in dire need for a solution when YOON came just in time. At YOON, they dedicate themselves to address customers’ deepest tresses concerns and attend to their desired hair goals, all at the same time creating a truly personalized experience for every customer who visits.
Upon arriving, I was welcomed by their friendly receptionists who made me feel at home right away. After filling up some forms and declaration, I was ushered to Collin, my stylist for the session.
Before the procedure took place, Collin did a thorough assessment and talked to me about my locks’ history, lifestyle, concerns and my desired outcomes from the session. After about 10 to 15 minutes, the treatment to be done was decided and I was put to do a pre photoshoot.

The Primer Accelerator was first applied to the stands to enhance the overall results. Next, Essence was put on to repair, strengthened and smoothened the cuticles in each strand.
Thereafter, I was ushered to the washing area and informed that, as a final step, the sealing serum would be coated on my stands for 10 minutes absorption before my final wash. Back to my seat after the wash and I was treated with a short but relaxing and extremely comfortable warm towel shoulder massage. Finally, after a blow dry, I was done with the treatment and emerged with smooth, kink-free hair ready to face the world.
Take a look at my post-treatment tresses. Though this is not a lockdown change as I did not do rebonding to smooth out my permed curls, but personally, I felt my tresses had become more manageable and less drying that very instant.
I was extremely pleased with the results to be honest. My fingers ran through my tresses without any tangles and it was such a joy really. My tresses were softer and smooth to touch. Now, this is not a definite fix and I was told the effects could last a month at the very least, depending on individual condition and texture, but for the impressive results I had in just one session, I was satisfied.
I came to learn that engaging in such regular repair and moisturising fixes are so important for those shiny, smooth locks and in preserving visible results. More so than doing ‘hair -altering’ procedures such as rebonding or perming, coloring etc. So ladies, if you are concerned about the health and condition of your tresses, I would strongly recommend investing in such regular sessions for strong, silky locks.

I like how they truly value creating the unique customers’ experience by allocating 'specialists' to different parts of the operations. Over here, their roles are truly well defined. For example, the senior stylists (they do not peg their pricings by classifying stylists further as Directors, Junior, etc.) focus on the hair and services delivery, the admin/receptionist welcomes customers and handles bookings; while the sales consultants end the service loop, seeking feedback and introducing customers to other services and providing the end-point pricing.
Everyone in this salon has a role and this allows their staff to provide the best service and experiences possible for everyone. This is something unique and not often seen in most salons where there is an overlapping of roles.
Another unique feature is that customers will have the personal phone number of the consultants who attended to them so that they may contact them on any hair issues for easier follow-up, something different from the norm.
Worry not about tie-ups and packages hard sell as they do not believe in engaging these tactics. At the end of the day, it is the personalised unique customers’ experience and the expertise delivery that entice one’s return.
