Not to scare off anyone but here’s some statistics:
More than five hundred women between the ages of 21-55
participated in the "Hair Does Matter” survey conducted in May 2015. 58%
of women suffering from hair loss said they are not sure of what they can do
about it and 51% felt depressed about their condition. The concern is real even
for women who have not started experiencing hair loss. Two thirds of the women
surveyed (65%) who had not experienced prior hair loss admit they are concerned
about it with increasing age.
I was in luck to attend a informative briefing session on the hair loss causes prevention and remedy by Plantur Hair Care and came home armed with knowledge and brimmed with happiness on my much light-headed gleaming hair and breathing scalp.
So women, it’s never too late to start looking after our
crowning glory and take care of them even we might think we are still
far far away from experiencing hair loss. There are many underlying factors

The role of genetics in hair loss in men is well known.

reality hits when women reach the age of menopause. Based on a large share of
female hormones (estrogens), a woman’s hair roots are protected against male
hormones (testosterone). After menopause, this share of estrogen decreases and
the influence of male hormones increases. Result? Hair becomes
thinner, falls out prematurely, the scalp becomes visible and the hair line
recedes. OH NO! Hopefully we can do something about it? And yes, we can be in control, ladies!

1. Plantur 21 Nutri-Caffeine Shampoo contains caffeine which slows down the degradation of hair and contains additional like magnesium, calcium and zinc, especially created for color-treated and stressed hair.
2. Plantur 21 Nutri-Conditioner regenerates and fortifies the hair structure from the outside and uses a “caffeine buffer” to prevent the previously absorbed Nutri-Caffeine Complex from the shampoo from being rinsed out.
3. Plantur 21 Nutri-Caffeine Elixir the scalp tonic provides protection from an energy deficit in the hair roots, thereby preventing premature disruptions of hair growth.
Meanwhile, Plantur 39 is specially formulated with phyto-active
ingredients that protect the scalp from the consequences of menopausal hair
loss and hormonal changes.
We had the opportunity to try out the Plantur hair care
series ( mine was paired with Plantur 21 ) with the most
comforting and relaxing head spa cum hair wash at J’s salon. The hair massage was amazing. First of all
J’s Salon is planted right inside Grand Copthorne, Waterfront Hotel and I tell you
their services were luxe at it’s best.
Just a side: They also do up bridal shower packages and I think it’s such a
good idea to gather your best pals for a range of pampering session- facial,
mani/pedi, hairspa etc. It’s a cozy, contemporary salon where gals can chill
and relax. Really loving the positive vibe and the friendly crew. Best thing if
you are planning a party at J’s Salon?
They are able to liaise with the catering at Grand Copthorne for snacks/
food saving all your troubles.
Here we were seated in their gorgeous suite overlooking the
bustling calming river and gardens. The ladies did really an excellent job in
providing us the much needed stress and tension release. The head and scalp acupuncture massage lasted 15 to 20 mins and we had our muscles relaxed
as well as the pores of our scalps opened to allow the best qualities of the
Plantur hair care to be readily absorbed when later
administered.
The shampooing was really comfortable and I felt my scalp given a throughout cleansing, done right on the relaxing spa couch. That was a first shampooing experience, didn't we often had our hair shampooed only on salon chairs?

After a good long cleansed and conditioning, our scalp was pampered
with the last step of infusing with the tonic treatment. To administer the tonic was
no simple task either and I believe I can’t do it as well at home for sure.
Once again scalp was massage and acupuncture points massage to open up the
pores followed by the application of the cooling Elixir ( aka tonic) directly into the
scalp. The Elixir provides intensive protection from poor hair
growth and premature hair loss. Leave it on and you are ready to go! Apply once
a day and massage in.
Despite the Nutri-Caffeine Complex in all its
products, there’s really no much sensory differences during application. Rather
the long term effect can be witnessed from the active ingredients after prolong
daily usage. Remember, caffeine is recommended as a cosmetic treatment against premature hair loss due to its good tolerability and proven efficacy.
I immediately felt
revitalized and therapeutic. My fatigue was gone (well almost) and most
importantly my head felt lighter and my scalp cool and refreshed. My hair was light and bouncy! Such a bliss indulgence.
