[Food Review] Pince and Pints lobsters feast (Duxton Road)
There are 3 main lobster selections and each priced at $48 before GST and service charge and we had our go at all 3.
Each dish uses 1 whole live lobster of approximate 6000g.
1. Chili Lobster.
We do love the spicy saucy tomato and chili gravy but this was all too similar to chili crab.
There were no surprises. The sauce was also too strong and had covered the original sweetness of the lobsters.
Comes with 5 pcs of Fried Mantous.
2. Live Whole Lobster.
Grilled on flames, this was delicious enough with the char-flavor.
3. The Lobster Roll.
Highly anticipated and yup was a good bite ( if not an expensive one) with the buttery soft roll topped with lobster meat topped with mayo. This was the easiest to tuck in since we don't have to peel the shells etc.
Comes with Mesclun Salad, Sour Cherry and Balsamic Dressing, Fries

We were full of anticipation after all the raves on IGs, blogs etc. Though fairly tasty, they did not leave us with a lasting impression.
Do note, they are only opened for the dinner time crowd from 5pm onward. They do not accept reservations and you will only be shown to a table if all guests are present. This is because they have a 1hr 30 mins time limit for which you can dine in depending on the number of pax and timing starts as soon as you are seated.
Guess how long the 3 of us took altogether? Less than an hour to finish all 3! No joke, we didn't even realised we ate that fast?? In fact we took photos etc and way still within time limit. Not too bad right? So I say, don't worry about this peculiar "rule" and happily just eat away.
