Meat eaters can rejoice as Paulaner’s famous crispy pork belly on a potato cucumber salad accompanied by their famous dark beer sauce - a fan favourite - is an amazing dish to enjoy this festive season. You can wash it all down with their famous selection of beers.

Paulaner is offering a Special Edition Red Pig Beer, which is bottom-fermented and brewed with a special Lunar New Year Label. It is a CNY-special available in 0.3L bottles in-house and for takeaway.

Crispy pork belly on potato cucumber salad with parsley mousse and Paulaner dark beer sauce.
Many hearts go towards the crunch-crunch from the pork belly which way exceeded our expectations. Paired with juicy, succulent pork belly meat and it had our bellies in glee.
$18.90++

Another seasonal delicacy that is a must-try is the Whole Fortune smoked corn-fed chicken with house-pickles from Plentyfull. This dish is a 5-spice rubbed corn-fed yellow chicken, smoked over apple wood chips and served with house pickled daikon, carrot and cucumber.
But do hurry if you wish to try the dish as it is only available from 14th January to 19th February.

The coarser meat texture was because of its free-range chicken and was well marinated with its concocted spices. The smoky smell that filled the hall was simply divine. The taste buds and sense of smell were heightened at once. Order a plate and experience it yourself.
$48.

Satisfy your Japanese food cravings with these special dishes from Tengawa, Saboten and Uma Uma. First of its kind in Singapore from Tengawa, their Signature Truffle Oil chawanmushi.

The fragrant truffle oil blended in with the smooth steamed egg and rolled down our mouth in one smooth motion. A simple and effective enhancement to an otherwise common dish.
$5 ++

For a ‘meatier’ option, there is the award-winning Saboten free-range pork dish. The pork is sourced from an RSPCA approved farm and has no added hormones.

Nothing can go wrong with fried katsu. But it has us craving for more and eating more at ease having known of the food sources.
From $30++. Available only from 4 Jan to 31 May 2019.

Uma Uma offers their famous Torimon Ramen, which is a comforting and traditional match of tori (chicken) and lemon. Thin Hakata noodles, chicken thigh and egg are served in a rich chicken broth that’s well-balanced with a hint of citrus. The unique thing about this ramen is that is it boiled for 7-hours with chicken bones instead of their signature pork bones.

The lemon added zest to the thick, flavourful broth and had us slurping up within minutes. It was that enjoyable.
$18++

Dishes for vegetarians or those who prefer a meat-free option, look no further than Elemen.
Elemen offers a wholesome and eco-responsible meat-free dining experience that benefits
your health without compromising on the taste with only the purest and freshest ingredients, to ensure the very best.

Truffle fans will love the double-boiled truffle soup by Elemen. This dish is rich with the fragrance of truffle shavings and truffle oil that is slow-cooked for over 6-hours with goji berries, monkey head mushrooms, and an assortment of nutritional Chinese herbs. Not only helpful in promoting blood circulation, but this heart-warming soup also helps reduce high
blood pressure.

The soup tasted more herbal than truffle but we are not minding it considering the many herbal goodnesses and the chewy texture of the monkey head was definitely a scorer in enhancing the soup taste.

 Another great option would be the Elemen yam ring, which is served with a medley of fresh, seasonal vegetables.
Who can resists yam ring? Not me. Embedded with charcoal which aids digestion, the yam ring with its mix of vegetables and mock-meat which even meat-lovers will appreciate.
Part of CNY Set at $42.80++ for 8 courses.

The Dark Gallery also offers a variety of choices for those with a sweet tooth, including Frozen S'mores. These delicious sweet treats consist of a Graham Tart Shell with their Signature 80% Dark Chocolate Ice Cream, Dark Chocolate Ganache, and Torched Marshmallow.

With the molten and chocolate Ganache and its tart base, this dessert ended our meal on a sweet note and will be sure to keep you happy for hours. A crowd pleaser definitely.
