Hua Hin Station, Hua Hin, Thailand

Hua Hin, a town famous for its beaches and royal getaways, is a simple 2.5hours from central Bangkok.
With its iconic red, Hua Hin Station serves as a gateway to other parts of Thailand and has been welcoming visitors since its inauguration in the 1920s.

Relax, zone out and watch the old steam engined trains roll by as time ticks by.

 A Library Heaven

Do not just walk around the train station.
For book lovers, step out of the main station and cross the street to find an extension of the once-used train cabins, now converted into a public library for children and adults. It was much of a heaven and a welcomed surprise. Do not miss it. Take off your shoes and walk around and maybe even grab a book or two?

A whiff of nostalgia along the train platform.

One of the features of the station is the Royal Waiting Room that used to serve the king and his court royales when they visit.

You will not miss it as it's just by the side of the iconic Hua Hin signage.
Make it a day trip or simply buy a ticket and board the train if you have time to spare. Either way, it will be an experience to remember.
