[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] Butterscotch cafe ( Bukit Merah Central)

by - Tuesday, November 18, 2014

We spent a lovely afternoon lunch at The ButterScotch Cafe on the weekend as we were nearby running some errands. Located in the Bukit Merah heartlands, this café is among the growing numbers sprouting in remote neighborhoods. Guess as customers we would have no complaints over the wider choices and varieties right?
The cafe is really a quiet, lovely place to chill out and relax by.
There's no huge crowd waiting in line, just small groups of families and friends at times.

Let's move on to the munchies!
Here's their signature Snickers  Cheesecake sandwich $5.5.

This sweet basically shouts at us with its appealing appearance.
Sandwiched between Mcvitie's Digestive Biscuits, chocolate cheesecake cream and topped with snickers bar, this was really yummy awesome and makes a good portion for sharing without being overly too overwhelming.

We ordered the mains and they did not disappoint.
First up, Smoked salmon egg Benedict $16.
Relatively simple, with salmon and poached egg on hollandaise sauce, this is a light bite and goes easy on the stomach.

Next up, Chicken Chop $14.
The sauce that goes ontop was amazing and flavorful to bring out the tastiness of the chicken fillet. Wedges were warm and slight crisp, mixed it up with scrambled eggs and you get a hearty meal.
I pretty much love this!
