[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] The Assembly Ground (The Cathay)

by - Thursday, August 28, 2014

Thanks to recommendations, we came upon a cozy comfy cafe located right in The Cathay- The Assembly Ground . The atmosphere was extremely homely and relaxed, tables were also spaced appropriately away from each other, so you won't run the risk of hearing other people's conversations.

Waste no time! Here's our order:
The Assembly Brunch $19.50 is a big scramble of eggs, salmon, sausages, sauteed mushrooms, potato gratin, grilled cherry tomatoes and toast. Looking good on presentation and awesome on taste too!

Next up: Shredded BBQ Pork Sandwich $15, comes in a set served with Parmesan Fries and Mesclun Salad. Light crisp bread stuffed with BBQ pork, was excellent to go with. I would recommend these 2 selections and of course there might be more delicious items, hope to try again soon.

Of course we can't missed out on the drinks- Macha Latte $5.50 was the highlight. The hot Macha hits right on the tastebud without being overly sweet or diluted. Thick and fragrant this was a really perk-me-up.
The Latte,$5.00 was well balanced with milk and coffee.

There's no service charge and it's a self-ordering system with 7&% GST inclusive. This is definitely a cafe serving some quality, delicious food and I hope to return to soon~~
