[Review] Hair & Scalp Care treatment at Philip Kingsley Singapore
Thanks to Philip Kingsley's invitation, I had the opportunity to try out their hair treatment on my dry hair.
Philip Kingsley, the leading authority on hair health, has its presence worldwide for over 40 years. Established in 1960, Philip Kingsley Trichological Clinic in London is world- renowned for its customized approach to hair care.
Philip Kingsley Singapore was launched in 1997 by expert hair trichologist, Ms Leonica Kei and is currently located in Palais Renaissance, level 3.
Philip Kingsley has a range of different treatments targeting all kinds of hair troubles, according to your needs- ranging from hair growth, scalp soothing, hydrating hair treatment, deep cleansing treatment and much more.

I was attended by Emily, one of the Trichologists about my lifestyle followed by a simple questionnaire on my personal health and well being. Your internal well-being can definitely affect the condition of your hair in the long run.
Emily confirmed that my hair scalp is slightly oily while the hair ends are dry and then proceeded to give me a Deep Cleansing Treatment.
A Deep Cleansing Mask, handmade with sulphur (deep cleansing), salicylic acid (exfoliation) and (boost blood circulation) menthol ingredients was first applied on the scalp generously to exfoliate the dead skin cells. The mask provided a really refreshing and cool touch and created a nice relaxing feel.
Philip Kingsley's trichological treatments penetrate deep into the internal roots of the hair and not just a coating of products over the hair as compared to normal practices.
A moisturizing cream was then applied on top to restore shine and elasticity.
Scalp and Hair Treatment are done concurrently so as to save time for busy customers, without compromising on the quality.
Next came the Steaming which lasted for 15 mins, followed by a superb comfy head and neck massage which totally relaxes the mind and soul.
Totally amazed by the "smoke" drifting out, but no worries, no harm was done in the process.
I was later then given a very soothing and stimulating head massage and put under Infrared light for 7 mins, helping the treatment's nutrients penetrate deeper, improve blood circulation and killing bacteria as well.

As an ending to the hairwash, Hair Tonic was sprayed across the scalp for soothing followed by Blow Drying and application of Serum to the hair for easy combing,
The whole treatment process took about 1hr 30 mins, consultation was an additional 15 mins done after the treatment with founder Ms Leonica. She went through the questionnaire I have filled up earlier on and gave me some tips such as obtaining more proteins in the diet to stimulate more blood circulation for more hair growth.

Totally had a relaxing enjoyable treatment session at Philip Kingsley. Left the centre with smoother, softer hair and a happier self!
