Totally enjoyed this intriguing and inspiring CHANEL Little Black Jacket exhibition and really thankful they made it to Singapore.

Walking out of the exhibit, another surprise greeted us when we spotted this booth with some fun activities.

And tada! What do we have here?
Hands-on Cyanotype print decorations for every ticket holders to take part in!

So basically we chose 2 shapes already coated with cyan (green powder) and just arrange the transparency films with the prints on top according to the way we liked. I chose Christmas tree and snowman.

Visitors having fun with the activity.

Afterwhich, just place the pieces underneath UV light and expose for 15 mins or so....
The white portion of the film will react with the UV light to change to blue and the black portion of the film, where the UV light doesn't penetrate through, will remain unreactive to color change.

After exposure, we removed the films and this was how they looked like.

Next wash the pieces, to remove away the unreactive cyan( green) powder.

Finally, dry them up!! There you have it White and Blue background with the prints on top~~ Super fun ^_^

This is the ArtScience Museum Christmas Tree where your handicraft will be hanged on.
This Cyanotype print decoration activity is really fun and creative! Simple yet very interesting. Kudos to the Museum's team for this initiative.
MERRY X'MAS!!
