[ FOOD REVIEW] MAK'S NOODLES SINGAPORE 麥奀記雲吞麵

by - Thursday, January 28, 2016

Was super excited to try out  Mak's Noodles- the famous 2 star Michelin Hong Kong restaurant which is now in Singapore, with 2 outlets no less.
Though I have not tried the HK version before but I have heard it's pretty authentic in taste over here too.  So, all I can say is we are really fortunate to be in Singapore!

Dumpling noodle. $7.50
They said good things come in small packages and this can be reflected on Mak's noodles. The noodles are definitely to drool for as they are springy and thinly stranded. The whole combo with the dumplings and soup makes a delectable bowl, with all ingredients imported from Hong Kong. Well, if you are not too hungry that is.

No doubt the standard serving size, but it was too small a bowl to fill our stomach and at this pricing, does not exactly corresponds to the portion of wanton noodles we are used to having at the hawker centers.
Nonetheless, for a try, we enjoyed this classic bowl of dumpling noodles~

Oyster Sauce Kailan $5.90
this is really very ordinary, simply boil and add oyster sauce. Too simple for $5.9. Have your veg elsewhere
