[ Cafe Hopping in Singpaore] L'eclair by Sarah Michelle ( Dhoby Ghaut)
With bright sunlight shining into the white interiors of L'eclaire, it's hard not to fall in love with this happy chill pill.
If you have spotted the tons of instagram pics going on portraying these gorgeous eclairs but have yet to try out then what are you waiting for? They taste as meltingly sweet as they look. By sweet, I don't mean overly distasteful sweetness with loads of sugar but rather, a light- delectable- fluffy happiness kind of sweetness.
The tea set for 2 comes with 4 eclairs, 1 savory options + 2 beverages .
Tahitian Vanilla & Pecans on the left adds on crunch with the pecan toppings while Lemon Meringue on the right brings on zesty tartness.
Beverages were also beautifully served and tasted strong and fragrant. Mocha and Latte we had.
Strawberries & Pistachio on the foreground was such a gem easy on the stomach. In the background is Ispahan with cream and coating made of Rose, Raspberry and Lychee.
For savory we had the Chicken and Bacon pie. Surprisingly warm and flaky crisp on the exterior with ample fillings on the inside. Comes with a side salad. Delicious! This combine of savory and sweet was also a good choice to 'cleanse' the palate after indulging the sweeter counterparts.

They are really pretty and special if I should say so. :)
Anyway, L'eclair by Sarah Michelle is an awesome place for some afternoon tea break or simply for a project meeting discussion over tea/coffee and eclairs.
