[ Cafe Hopping In Singapore] Hyde & Co ( Bugis, North Bridge Road)

by - Monday, May 18, 2015

Took more photos than we eat, well not really, but that was my first day taking out the LG G4 to play and so I was pretty excited in seeing what the camera can do. There will be lots of photos of me any my darling ger and a prelude to the introduction of LG G4 that's to come in my upcoming posts! Absolutely LOVE the camera and couldn't rave more.
All the photos below are unedited and purely taken by #LG #G4.
And of course the natural white light shining into the chic, minimalistic Hyde & Co does a great deal in achieving the wonderful photos.

Hair styled by my trusty GlamPalm GP 201- if you haven't read about it, clicked HERE.

Here's the minimalistic, simple deco of the cafe.

Then we have the food and oh yes, Hyde & Co works on NO GST and Service Charges. Rejoice?
Here's our English brunch order anyways!  Aren't the setup lovely?

 Lady Hyde $14.9
Hyde's special as recommended.
A fusion of west and Singapore style. Expect to find Corque stacked with pineapple and Hebi Hiam (Spicy Shrimp Floss- very Singaporean) served with garden salad and roasted truffle potatoes. The Hebi could do with with more spiciness to wow up the flavor. Overall the combi was unique and interesting but we wouldn't mind more of the Hebi too!

Ready for the Ooze?

Here's how you have it all altogether.

The Full Works $23.9
Your typical America all-day-breakfast. Comes packed with German Pork Bockwrust, Streaky Bacon, Baked Cheese Portobello Mushrooms, Grilled Tomatoes, Toast and Scrambled Eggs. What can I say? Rock the meat!

So we are back with more selfies, pardon us... haha... too much love with the LG G4.

And thanks to the very very attentive and patient crew for making us feel at home, asking us how how the food and even offered to take photos for us. Applause for the very immaculate service so lacking in food industry nowadays. Then again the crew all sounded local, so....maybe there's a difference in attitude.
I noticed they too attended to potential customers who stopped by the the front door to look at the menu and introduced to them. All very well done!

So we took more selfies... There's a built in function in the seflie mode which beautifies all your photos so you don't have to edit! I will do up a full review soon.

Ending with Berries of the Forest Fruit Tea at $9 a pot.
Notes: Berries, Hibiscus and rose hip. "Sweet yet tart with the perfume of Arabic Shisha."
It was all sweet and soothing except, they are from tea bags, not tea leaves.

Hyde & Co is a serene retreat from other crowded cafes in other parts of Haji Lane and we did not encounter with huge crowd, so you can easily chit chat and relax the afternoon away.

Hyde & Co is easy to locate, walk from Bugis MRT Station all the way down past Haji Lane and all, towards North Bridge Road.

You will pass by this characteristic shop houses along the way, for which Hyde & Co is also part of.
