This is the highlight by the way- Spalliera~~
Get a total feel as of being in Europe without even getting out of Singapore (Just ignore the humidity). Everything else is perfect and visitors will feel like being in a foreign wonderland filled with Christmas warmth and celebrations of love, joy and peace.
The first thing that greets you when you enter are the little huts, making up the Festive Market featuring a total of 19 vendors including Saybons, Bakerzin, Cream & cookie Co. Lots of yummy food that ensures your tummies are filled while roaming round the beautiful light sculptures.
Ample seating spaces for all to dine and rest, how thoughtful. However, there are so many distractions around, we could not decide to eat or to view all the displays first.
In the end, we fell into food temptation and went hunting. Bought the Cranberry Turkey Burger $20 from Brewerkz.
Deliciously warm and crispy for sharing, if not a tad expensive just for this.
But well, it's a Market Fair so prices are expected to be slightly higher.

There's also a pop-up store by local award-winning pastry chef- Janice Wong, the founder behind 2:am dessert bar.
Art and sweets combine to new creations such as chocolate paintings, balloons lollipops etc.It's such a brilliant refreshing take to combine the 2 together where you get edible paintings and art sculptures. Do drop by to be wowed.
Eclairs are at $10 each.
Chocolate bonbons at $2.50 each and all handmade.
Lollipops $2 each.
Both eclairs and bonbons are kept fresh and refrigerated.
We bought the 3 top sellers for the Eclairs- Popcorn, Peanut Butter, Tiramisu.
Popcorn was awesome with a mixture of sweet and saltiness~ Melt~~~~~~~
Part of the costs could have come from the "extravagant" packaging. Look at these cute boxes, ready to be gifted. For many however who consumed on the spot, the boxes are such a waste. Pity.

Smooth and awesome! Absolutely fell in love with these eclairs. Exterior are not soft or lumpy but rather at a right texture encasing the velvety coffee based cream fillings.
Also saw some many lovely pets♥

Now. lets move on to the highlights!
Kudos to GBB and Blue Sky Event for this spectecular display right in our tropical island.
Among the event's attractions are stunning light sculptures from Italy, inspired by Baroque architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The Spiegeltent comes alive right in the middle of GBB (Dutch for "Mirror Tent", from spiegel+tent) is a large travelling tent, constructed in wood and canvas and decorated with mirrors and stained glass, It is now currently housing a resturant which feels super cool to dine in and the prices are not steep either ranging up to $21. We were also told the menu changes weekly and they are open from 5pm onwards daily.
Can't capture the whole tentage unfortunately because it's just too huge, do you notice the elaborate carvings on the exterior? So magical right?

Dining in a circular tentage feels so different, even walking inside brings a tint of giddy excitement.
Moving on to the centrepeice highlight amongst all the Baroque- inspired sculpture from Italy is the Spalliera. My favourite favourite because it's so awe-striking.
See how it glows and sparkles in the dark? Isn't this the most magnificent Christmas display ever? Immediately transports you over to Europe. Bam.
I can't imagine how long this takes to conceptualize and staged.

Behold! Surprise ensures with Christmas Blizzard happens at the Supertree Grove at 7.30PM, 8.20PM, 9.05PM and 9.45PM daily.

... And every child squealed in excitement and glee among the snow. There are so many kids, parents and everyone else, it's a happy joyous Christmas indeed.

Dance performances like stilt walkers were round and about. The organizers definitely did not leave out any forms of engagement with the public.
Okay one more last display and we are out of the gardens and back to MBS Hotel.

Supertree Grove Festive Food market and Spiegeltent runs from 29 Nov to 21 Dec till 11pm. The Christmas lights installation goes on till 1st Jan 2015 and there are also ticked displays in the domes running till 6th Jan 2015.
