[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] Bingsu- Nunsaram Korean Dessert Cafe (Westgate/Jurong East)

The Bingsu wave has hit Singapore faster than you can say 'Bingsu'. I am no expert in Bingsu-s but who wouldn't love a cooling smooth shaved ice in the hot Singapore weather? All I can say is K-wave influence never ends! What other yummy snacks will hit our shores in the future?

Anyways, following my first Bingsu foray at O'ma Spoon in Marina Square (click to read) , I am proud to announce  the opening of  now-not-so-new Nunsaram's (a.k.a snowman) Korean Dessert Cafe!

Located now both in town at Orchard Central and Jurong East's Westgate, no way to say no right?

Here's what we ordered:

Black Sesame Bingsu $15.90

We love black sesame and this was shared among 3 of us and proved to be just right in portion. This huge serving contains ample shaved ice flakes, chewy rice cakes which adds to the overall experience and crunchy almond flakes. Ample red beans 'pat' together with the option to add in the sweetened milk, makes the bingsu more appealing and irresistibly delicious.
Note: We wished there were more black sesames though to heighten the flavor. Otherwise all good.

We had a 10% disc during their opening period in westgate an amounts to $14.30.
Very yummy! Go give it a try~

I would say O'ma Spoon and Nunsaram each has its different style but both bingsu I have tried were fantastic! Closest taste you can get from Korea while still in Singapore.
