In celebration with Singapore's National Day on 9 August and in true Singaporean fashion, indulge in an upscale interpretation of the nation’s favourite dishes including the Alaskan King Crab Meat Char Kway Teow, Lobster Roti Jala, Hokkien Noodles served with Baby Lobster, and Steamed Oysters paired with your sauce- of-choice (Thai Chili, Mala or Sambal Belachan).
Tucked into the shiok spicy Assam fish fillet, prepared on-the-spot. My personal favourite.
You will be in for a spicy hot feast, bound to awaken your senses. Other local signature favourites include the Hainanese Chicken Rice, Fried Carrot Cake and Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce. And it’s never going to be a true Singapore celebration without trying one of nation’s greatest culinary inventions – the Singapore Chili Crab!
Don't forget to slurp on some Bak Kut Teh Soup with Pork Rib to warm up the stomach.
End your meal on a sugar high with a selection of local sweets at the dessert station featuring Pong Piah, Tau Sar Piah, “Orh Nee” (Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts), and Mini Assorted Nonya Kuehs.
We left the last savor at the 'Loco Local buffet feast with the Chendol topped with Durian Pengat for the perfect sweet ending.
