HAVE YOUR KACHANG AND MARTABAK RIGHT IN SINGAPORE — PANCAKE BOSS ( BUGIS)
Get It Right
Get your share of authentic Martabak ( a stuffed pancake with lots sweet and savory fillings. Originating from Saudi Arabia but a street snack made well known in Indonesia) in Singapore. Think Mr Bean or Chinese's version of Min Chiang Kueh, but the more "unhealthier" cousin.
More sinful but MUCH bigger on taste.
Indulge once in a while for all your worth. Won't you?

Missed Martabak?
Hidden right inside Bugis Cube, not many would have known of an Indonesia Martabak eatery's existence, much to my surprise too. But Pancake Boss Martabak Manis is the place to go to if you are craving your sweets. Yes, just as localized as what you can find in Indonesia, as proclaimed by the business itself. It's not just my opinion but based on the many comments I saw on IG, the reviews were pretty awesome since it's opening in September 2016, this year.
I was attracted by the cheeses toppings. Who wouldn't? And well with cheese, you would like some chocolates, fruits maybe and of course the kachangs ( aka peanuts). Well you get the idea.
Savour and burn off the calories later.
There is a lot huge list of choices from traditional to fusion with pandan, honeycomb, ovaltine, oreo.. whatever you name it, they have it.

Boss Combo.
$9.90
This is a mix of everything. Kacang, Martabak Cheese and Choco Rice. The thick fluffy pancake was generously sandwiched with all the ingredients. Warm and gratifying yummilicious if you had it on the spot.
The size of the whole pancake.
Do not belittle the size as I had previously.

The whole pancake can be a bit too much and jelat for 2 pax but 4 pax will be just fine.
With the lowest price starting from $7, it's not exactly cheap considering it's only pancake ( flour and sugar) that you are paying for. But if you share it out, it will be relatively alright for an occasional indulgence. Makes quite a filing snack too
The shop space has nothing to shout about, pretty small but has tables and chairs for dine in but food is still the main attraction.
Chill for a yummy snack time!
