HAPPY 1st JUNE!! (*confetti*)
We are officially halfway through 2016 and darn, only left with 6 more months before we call it a year. Once again. Have you lived up your life as at this point in time? This year, according to the Chinese zodiac, is supposed to be a good year for me, but..why, I have not even encountered anything lucky or worthy of a huge celebration. Sure, there are many happy moments with those close, lovely people around me but otherwise...
Nevetheless, I hope you had a great year so far and an even awesome one ahead!! Let's fighting!

A new try for me. Who can resists the crispy sweet-savory of bacon? If you can't ( like me), welcome to OMB- the first bacon inspired cafe in Singapore ( and possibly Asia?). I read they have returned with new items on the menu and we were as curious to find out what they were.
 Below are the deets.

OMB Burger $17

Brioche Bun sandwiched in between tender beef patty, melted cheese and pan-fried egg served with fries on the side. I personally favored the big fat fries. Burger wise was a nice looking 'somewhat-huge' stack of goodness and makes for a good sharing plate. Beef was tender enough.

Mini Bacon Bomb $12

Da-Boom. The original Bacon Bombs were resized to a mini version of pork bites stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon and drizzled with homemade chili sauce- also not found in the previous version. Served in a mini pan this makes for a hearty starter to whet up your appetite, thanks to the spicy chili and was really our favorite amongst the other orders we had that day. 

Comes with 3 Bacon Balls. 

Hello Twins! 

Make no mistake, these are 2 different dishes.

The next order we had upon recommendation in-house, was this all day breakfast consisting of bacon,  tomato sauce, sausages and hash dumplings. Perhaps we don't really flavor sweet tomato base, but this was pretty mediocre and didn't wow for us. It's really a mix of a typical breakfast set.

Bacon Ice Cream
1 scoop. I am not recommending this. Though we did not have much expectation but this is really to much of a 'cheat'? Yes basically it's just a ball of vanilla ice cream sprinkled with some bits of bacon.
Enough said. 

The Looks.

In collaboration with certain art house company, many bright graffiti dornes the wall, making OMB a much livier and happy place with the the parintings. The looks of the cafe makes it a great happy and relaxing place to chill or reada book by the window.
