[Exclusive] Pedestrian Night on Orchard- Christmas Edition

Christmas season welcomes in much rainfall this year. Admist the rain, Orchard Road continues to dazzle and shine with the crystal sparkling street lights and mega shopping mall vie to deck out their buildings in their Christmas best.

6 Dec last week saw the Christmas themed Pedestrian Night on Orchard Road happening once again as stretches of road from Scotts Road closed for this festive fun.
Families and friends roamed the streets while enjoying an evening of jingles, street performances and yummy treats.

This year’s Christmas lightings was a  creative concept is produced by local artiste Dick Lee and renowned designer Yang De Rong. 

The theme revolves around bells and baubles, transforming Orchard Road into a magical world



One of the highlight were the great deals featured on OneOrchard App, which saw a wide array of freebies for everyone. ‘Star Deals’ section on the app included exclusive vouchers at Pedestrian Night for complimentary photos at the special Christmas photo booths, ice cream, wristband bottles and pH balancer water! $10 shopping voucher and 500 sets of Shaw Theatres movie and popcorn combo vouchers were given away  too.


The response was overwhelming with the endless snaking queues.
There were also many special in-mall deal tieups on that day.
OneOrchard, available on both iTunes and Google Play, was launched to further enhance visitors’ experiences.






At each Pedestrian Night, the stretch between Scotts Road and Bideford Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6 pm - 11pm, Good news, the Pedestrian Night on Orchard Road will be extended to February 2016 instead of December 2015
The Pedestrian Night initiative is organised by Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA) and supported by Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
