[Food Review] What to eat at Lepark Sg (Chinatown)
Lepark has created quite a stir in Instagram recently partly due to its refreshing location for an eatery. Parked right on the rooftop and at a nostalgia, long forgotten rooftop no less- right above People's Park Complex. Ever since then, there has been numerous events like Yoga gatherings, music festivals and whatnot happening at this rooftop.
I can see why people are flocking there. It's really quite a different view up there.
If it's not for this new eatery's existence, I believe this rooftop would have been long forgotten.
You can get a splendid view of Chinatown from above.

Lepark Platter 18
A mix of tapas which includes mini bites like Poached Chicken Sushi Thai Basil Pork Tau Pok , Chicken Skin, Nachos and Otah Bombs. The Poached Chicken Sushi was quite interesting and a delish combination of chicken rice dressed in ginger and chili sauce bundled up by a wrap of seaweed strip.
Woodchuck Pear Cider 12
Nothing much to rave about, just typical cider.
Sambal Butter Slipper Lobster 12
Unfortunately tasted more like crayfish and taste wise? Wasn't 'shiok' enough for sambal and relatively blend. The size was small but well can't expect much from a $12 lobster.
No GST and Service Charge becoz u totally have to "work" for it. That means self ordering and self collecting.
Great place to chill and have some light snacks to go with your beer, surrounded by relaxing ambiance but if you are looking for a fulfilling meal to satisfy your taste bud, this is definitely not the place to do so.
The portions are small and are really more of finger bites. If you want a hearty happy meal, I suggest you head for some Ri Ri Mala Xiangguo at People's Park Center which will definitely be worth your bucks. As we really did head for this that day right after Le Park.
