[Media Invite] Magnum Infinity Playground Party for Pleasure Seekers

by - Thursday, June 11, 2015

Magnum has launched its most pleasure-packed ice cream experience yet with the Magnum Infinity, made from a rare source of naturally rich Tanzanian cocoa that produce intense premium dark chocolate. To celebrate the launch, Magnum partnered London-based culinary experience designers Bompas & Parr, to design the world’s first Magnum Infinity Playground, transforming the rooftop of Singapore’s iconic Esplanade into a larger-than-life playground for adults that bring to life the “intense Magnum pleasure that stays with you longer”.

Here's the gist of the Magnum Infinity launch recap

Pleasure Seekers stepped into the fun world!

Unlimited Magnums awaited us on the other end!

Time to indulge in awesome chocolate ice creams from Magnum!

Susanne Artfelt, Country Director Unilever Singapore.
“Magnum has always celebrated pleasure and indulgence through the perfect combination of decadent chocolate and rich ice cream. Today, we are proud to be working with Bompas & Parr who have not only redefined pleasure for our Pleasure Seekers, but created another dimension of intense Magnum pleasure that stays with you longer.”

Harry Parr, co-founder of Bompas & Parr and main architect of the Magnum Infinity Playground.
“Magnum Infinity represents the perfect blend of creativity and aspiration. We will offer pleasure seekers an experience they will never forget in the form of the world’s first Infinity Playground.”

After the Magnum Infinity Launch, it was time for Pleasure Seekers to roam the playground!

Time to get grooving!

The Infinity Playground came alive as guests (aka pleasure seekers) were treated to a great visual and sensory experience with the much popular Infinity Slide and Infinity Skyline Swings standing at 6m and 4m high respectively while facing the breathtaking Singapore city skyline.

Here's us at the Low-Hanging Infinity Swing with Jessie.

Then we had the super exhilarating Magnum Infinity Slide ! All it took was a few seconds but the speed was lightning!

Skyline Swing was definitely not as slow as it seems from the ground.

Pretty "vigorous" actually! Well, for me and Jasmine that is.

Harry Parr, co-founder of Bompas & Parr.
The Infinity Playground was design and fun at its best as designers Bompas & Parr sought to transport guests back to their childhoods – a time when fun and ice cream were inextricably linked – and to extend the pleasure we felt through various multi-sensory experiences across the Magnum Infinity Playground
What a blast we had!

Next up, inside the Infinity Mirror Room- gorgeous shiny and sparkling, perfect for photos.

Here's Jasmine! My plus-one for the night.

Are you itching to try out the Infinity Swings just like we had? Here's your chance! Curious to see the menu?

Here's the low-down:
Chocolate Infinity Apple Crisp
Apple spring roll with rum-infused passion fruit and blackberry sauce, served together with a Magnum Infinity
S$15

We had our tasting of the new menu that exciting night at the Infinity Tasting Room where all the Magnum yummy delights awaited. Here's the recreation for the guests that night.

The Molten Magnum Infinity
Magnum-inspired salted caramel crème brulee topped with a dark chocolate shell.
S$15

Recreation- what we had that night.

Forest Retreat
Bamboo-infused vodka blended with Magnum Infinity (Chocolate and Caramel), with a hint of homemade orange and thyme marmalade.
$20
The Measure of Pleasure
Ceylon-infused vodka together with Magnum Infinity (Double Chocolate) with homemade pistachio and raspberry syrup, topped with truffle salt foam
S$20
Recreation.
My personal preference was the Bamboo forest with it's more typical taste of chocolate and caramel infusion. The zesty orange adds the sourness to combat off the sweetness. These 2 cocktails with high alcohol content are not for the faint-hearted.

When at a Magnum party, Pleasure Seekers had plenty of Magnum indulgence of course. Here's the chockful of chocolate delights from the Infinity Chocolate and Caramel.

There was also a customization bar for all to display their creativity. Here's my creation.

Spotted myself choosing from the wide array of sweets and having a hard time choosing whatnot in the Infinity Tasting Room. :)

Lastly, the Magnum Infinity Fog Room lets Pleasure Seekers sniffed out the pure Tanzanian cocoa dark chocolate used in Magnum Infinity ice creams. Intense pleasure on all senses!

Have yourself a Magnum Infinity and maximize your pleasure! Available now at all leading supermarkets, 7-11s and petrol stations.
