Had a quick lunch with my sweetie and we came by to Chir Chir (Ci-re Ci-re) for Korean Fried Chicken located right in the hearts of 313@Somerset.  ( I do apologise for the very low resoulution of the pictures taken back when I was still carrying the Samsung S4)

Something special was the availability of the thongs to tear the meat with the prick and tuck into the meat with the fork part. Was definitely a "challenge" and amusing feat to use the tools. These help to keep your hands clean though, but I rather use my hands. 

Here's the order: Nest Snow Chicken comes with 2 sides- corns and pickles. $32.90.

This is one of the most popular choices and it's a plate of fried chicken atop some very creamy rich white sauce mixed with veges and corns etc, thrown in with hidden mash potatoes and a swirl of whipped cream atop the whole creation. Scores on presentation right?

The price is not cheap and the portion unfortunately was not very filling for the 2 of us. Though we must agree the Nest Snow Chicken was really a play on the usual way we had our fried chickens but the novelty wears off pretty quickly. Simply put, it's a gravy version of fried chicken, not bad but perhaps won't be returning soon unless it was to try the other items on the menu.

I did however read many raves about Chir Chir and their other versions of the Korean Fried Chicken. Do share with me if you think they are other items worth trying on the menu?
