[What to eat in Johor Bahru, Malaysia] PappaRich City Square

by - Friday, April 10, 2015

Welcome to JB eats.
PappaRich has its origins in Malaysia with the vision of bringing authentic Malaysian cuisines to the world. Crafted from traditional recipes, this is they now have over 100 outlets worldwide, including 6 stores in Singapore. I do love their cosy warm and fuzzy interior that makes you feel at home.

If you are in City Square, JB,  just across the causeway, this brand would come as no stranger.
Dining in Malaysia really cuts the cost by a substantial amount as compared to having them in Singapore ( Well, that's before the GST implementation which kicked off recently anyway. Now still worth it to dine in Malaysia?)
Anyway below are some of the orders we had at PappaRich.

Here's some snacks to kick off the mains.
Pappa Salmon Bites ( 4pcs)
Akin to fried fish balls this crispy balls come packed with salmon.

Chicken Siew Mai and Steamed Homemade Otak- Otak
These were quite typical as what you always had anywhere else.

For drinks we had Logan Milk Honey Ice, Pappa Organic Oat (Hot) which I personally loved because of it's simply healthier for the body and Soya Milk Pudding

Here comes the mains
Dry Curry Mee with Steamed Chicken.
Mild spicy dry noodles with the shiokness factor accompaniments well with the soft tender chicken, served as a side dish.

Ipoh Kuay Teow Soup with Steamed Chicken
The smooth soft kuay teow was soaked in the flavourful stocked based and comes served with soft steamed chicken. Comfort food especially apt for the cold weather.

It was an enjoyable makan session.
