[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] Secret cafe- Whale & Cloud popup ( Tiong Bahru)
Finally finally had the chance to try out Whale & Cloud's coffee. I have long heard about this quaint little concept for this free style cafe. Back in their location at Niven Road, they go by the concept of no pricing and no menu. Simply pay whatever amount you wish to after your visit and voila~
They are usually only open on weekends if any, and locations might vary with their pop-up concepts. Everything is pretty irregular so the best ways to locate their movements to prevent disappointment is- follow them on Instagram. Period.
Months back they had a pop-up collaboration with Kisses Bakery at Tiong Bahru area and I was lucky to be able to catch them in action.
Kisses specializes in cupcakes of all flavors.
Whale & Cloud also sells cold brew which you can purchase for later consumption.
Here comes the much anticipated brew!
I was not disappointed really. The coffee's acidity was just nice, nothing too overwhelming, the creamy consistency ( added with milk) was what I favoured. Aromatic and smooth, even a non regular coffee drinker like me was hooked. Roll the coffee in your tongue and experience the fragrant lovely brew.

Pairing with Kisses Bakery means they have wide selections of sweets to compliment the coffee.

The brew that day was all from Intelligentsia coffee, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Had the Peanut Butter Crunch for $6 which was fragrant and yummy good but regretfully gotten a tad too sweet the more I ate.
