The Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE) happened at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore from July 3 to 6, 2014 and displayed the most exquisite range of jewelry and designs from around the world. Backed by strong support from the international jewelry industry spanning the globe from United States to South Africa, to Europe and Australia, the Singapore International Jewelry Expo brings leading local and international jewelers, manufacturers and suppliers to showcase a truly spectacular trove of jewelry.

This year, the organizer has worked tirelessly for twelve months to commission some of the most exquisite and affordable jewelry from jewelers from all over the globe, for buyers here in Singapore. These range from S$59 to S$8,000 and are crafted by some of the most talented jewelers from Italy, Hong Kong, India,Malaysia, Singapore and more. 

The vibrancy and glittery of the show pieces will be complemented by an exciting line-up of 

event highlights and visitors were first treated to a jewelry fashion show.

One of the highlights was the exceptionally rare 50.55 carats white diamond exhibited by Luxe jeweller DeGem. 

Almost flawless with slight inclusions that go barely noticed, and possess no fluorescence.

With the finest proportions of cuts, the diamond displays spectacular fire metrics with a balanced and cohesive sparkling pattern.  Many of the most world’s most famous and important diamonds are cushion-cuts, including the blue Hope Diamond (45.52 cts) and it is estimated that only 5% of diamonds in the market are cushion cut. The 50.55 carats white diamond is one of them.

 I was attended to by the friendly staff who introduced to me the multi-carat, one and only necklace crafted especially for the expo. Made from yellow gold, white gold and diamonds of different carats this is such a hand-crafted masterpiece! Amazing details, craftmanship and design.
