[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] W39 Bistro and Bakery ( Clementi, West Coast)

Woohoo~~ Finally made my way and dropped by at W39 bistro for some casual dining!

The cafe is prettily decorated with old school stuff but indoor seating is limited.
Big groups can be seated at big tables like those below.
But if you only have 2 person you are mostly likely to be seated at those small tables, placed so closely together that whatever you are chatting about, the table besides you can hear.

Here's the order:
Baked Miso Seabass $28.00
Mad huge and magnificent in taste, the seabass was well grilled, coated with miso glaze. Imported from Chile, the white as snow seabass was just so smooth it slides down your throat without much chewing effort . OH SO Heavenly!! Okay it has been a while since I had such fresh and delicious fish, so let me savor. ^^ Portion cut was thick and generous. We agreed it was a worthy price to pay for.

Served prettily with mash potato, baby carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and tomato.

Happy me with my food~~

Confit of Duck Leg $19.50
Tender duck meat with crispy skin on the outside, which really is the highlight. The meat was really soft and tasty. Served with mash potato, mesclun salad and grilled tomato.

Their famous rainbow cake was unfortunately Out of stock and really a pity. So we had to make do and ordered the Cruchy Hazelnut which was pretty decent and tasted lovely as well. Crunchy base rocks!

Wild Berry Soda $5.50.
Sprite, mint leaves and berries jam, something along that line we believed.

I think it's better to sit outdoors if you are coming by night, not so cramp and warm.
Nevertheless we had a wonderful dining experience, good food and ambience and lots of people watching. :)
Hope to try their rainbow cake someday.
