[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] Antoinette
We headed to the Antoinette at Penhas Road and was delighted with their lovely cafe concept. We were there to celebrate a dear friend's birthday and had fun catching up as well as enjoying the awesome food.
Behind those closed doors..
What greets you at the door are the romantic settings and....
These lovely cakes!!! Omg... drooling~~~
Sotcked on one side are the packed goodies that you can purchase home. In our case it was nearing Chinese New Year and so mostly stocked with New Year cookies.
The very comfy interior designs which can be found across all their 3 branches but yet I think there are subtle differences in the style for each outlets.
Cakes selection from their display:
CHOLE $9- A mix of Yuzu, White Chocolate and Vanilla in a light sponge cake base.Look at the intricate design~~ water droplets making it all too pretty for consuming. Taste fantastic, with the refreshing Yuzu taste in the middle
Cafe Latte~ with pretty latte art. Taste not bad!
Concorde- Roasted Chicken with Bacon and creamy mushroom sauce served with a generous portion of greens on top of this savory crepe. Love tucking into the soft creep and made a good combination with the savory fillings~
Club Antoniette- yuzu crabmeat mimosa, mustard, omelette, tomatoes and served with chips and salads as well.
The portions served were huge~~ Best to share to try a range of varieties :)
Club Honey Baked Ham- layers of ham, mayonnaise, omelette, tomato sandwiched between their Pain de Mia fluffy crispy toast, makes a good dish for sharing and yummy enough.
Strawberry Shortcake-sadly tasted normal and was a tad too dry.
Dark Chocolate cake- far right. Much nicer and rich with chocolate sponge cake and molten chocolate in the core.
I love the ambience and the hearty food menu of Antoinette. Give it a try especially to their Penhas outlet...They also have brunches at Palais Renaissance and Mandarin Gallery :p
