[Food Review] NamNam Noodle Bar
Hello peeps, I am sure many of you would have already patronized Nam Nam Noodle Bar at least once by now, but I am still going to introduce their Vietnamese cuisine. Hahaha. It's a good place for some cheap and fast Vietnamese food with their prominent locations around town e.g. Raffles City, Wheelock Place and Suntec City.
First up, the Vietnamnese Pho Chicken- $7.90
I love the Pho's light and flavourful broth. It's a really simple dish but comforting enough and tasted very much similar to Kway Teow ( white flat noodles).
Pho- as quoted from Wikipedia, is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, linguine-shaped rice noodles, a few herbs, and meat.
We also ordered their Prawn roll $4.90 which tasted quite normal.
However, we loved the Lotus tea $2.50 which comes in a pot fair enough for sharing. The tea is light in taste and leaves a lingering fragrance. Using actual tea leaves and not just tea bags, you can request for water refill once.
On the background, you can spot a blue tin cup, holding the Hot black coffee $2.50, which lives up to its name of much bitterness. ^^
Prawn rolls were handmade on the spot, wrapped in rice paper aka rice wrappers.
Comes with mint leaves, cooked shrimps, cooked rice vermicelli, spring onion and cucumber to provide the 'crunch', dip them in ready-made sauce for some flavouring.
If you visit the Raffles City branch, I recommend you to sit at the counter bar for some "actions-packed" moments.
