Had the opportunity to try and review the Luxe Scalp Specialists' deep cleaning treatment .
After diagnosis, I realized to my dismay that besides oily scalp, I have dandruffs now:( Though not too serious, but I am glad this treatment has enabled me to understand and diagnose my scalp condition there and then. Dandruffs are definitely treatable and with proper care, these can be eliminated.
Just like your face, cleansing of the scalp is important as well to prevent hair follicles from being clogged with oils or impurities. Long term clogging might result in hair thinning or hair fall, so seek some professional care asap.
Here's a peek as to what I went through for the hair treatment session:
Firstly, first frequency was administered to kill bacterias.
Massage Combing for blood circulation
A potion filled Ginger Wine mixed with tonic, was then applied to open up pores for cleansing before the application of herbs. Essential oil with lemongrass was also applied to the hair ends to prevent drying out when steaming.
Next, the especially formulated in-house Herbal Paste for hair growth was applied.
Followed by steaming for 1 hr or so. This helps to stimulate the hair scalp, removes oil and cleanses. When done, I was ushered to shampoo off, followed by a shoulder pad massage which was oh-so-soothing, I fell asleep.
As a final step, hair tonic was applied to the hair along with another comfy massage
Finally, the scalp was exposed under Infrared for 10 mins to maximize the absorption of the tonic and we were done!!
Before Treatment:
As can be seen, the pores were blocked by oil. Those whitish substances are the oil.
After Treatment:
However after the cleansing treatment, you can see here, the pores are now so much more visible and clear without any obstructions.
