[EATS] LONDON FAT DUCK (VIVOCITY)
"Wagyu of Ducks"
That's what London Fat duck prides themselves as, serving roast ducks made famous by restaurants in London.
The parents and I headed to London Fat Duck in Vivocity for a celebration and since dad is a big lover of roast meat, why not ?
We had a fairly simple order. Read on.
Sliced Fish Congee $7.80
Simply put, there are only fish slices but the porridge was not overly runny and was substantial enough to fill you up.
Seafood Congee 'Ting Zai' style. $7,80
Ting Zai is a cantonese word for 艇仔 which loosely translated is a mix of jelly fish, peanuts, shallots, sliced fish etc.
Fresh and clean taste.
Steamed Dumplings Har Gao $6 (4 pcs)
Pretty standard, prawn and paste wrapped in rice skin.
Signature London Roast Duck ( HALF) $26
If you really want to have a good taste of the plump fat duck, then just order half portion and not those individual plates of roast duck with rice. Ordering a half portion would at least substantiate meatier portions of the the duck.
According to dad, he loves the plump juiciness of the tender roast duck meat. Didn't disappoint.
Dip in with the plum sauce on the side for tantalizing sweetness.
We like!
