What You Should Know About Shopping With Ezbuy

by - Monday, August 17, 2015

Yes, my purchases from Taobao via 65daigou have finally arrived.
*Updated June 2017:  65daigou has now been rebranded as Ezbuy. This article was written before the rebranding. But essentially 65daigou refers to ezbuy and their shopping system remains the same and hence the article content is still relevant.*

For reviewing purpose, I tried out 2 different routes — via shipment to Guangzhou and the other via shipment to Shanghai warehouse —  for internal shipment consolidation in China before shipping over to Singapore.

Results?

Guangzhou shipment was way faster: placed order on 5th Aug, all stocks arrived to Singapore service centre on 8th Aug ( 3 days)
Shanghai: same order placement day but all stocks arrived Singapore only on 11th August ( 6 days)

*I had shipped via Economy Air

Tips: You should definitely try to consolidate all your deliveries to one warehouse as that will save your internal shipping fees further even if it's by a few grams of weight difference.
 Why are there 2 warehouses?
The main reason: If the seller is located in Northern China, you can opt for Shanghai warehouse, whereas if your seller is located in the Southern provinces, you can opt for Guangzhou warehouse. This will greatly reduce waiting time for your parcel's arrival!

I have just need to pay up the international shipping fee upon its arrival in Singapore and like I mentioned in my July post, there was a Free Agent Fee back then and so I did not need to pay for that.

Of course you might want to factor in things like wrong stocks arrival etc. and that's when the Inspection portion of the service provided by 65daigou is so crucial. Many Taobao sellers are individuals and some of them are amateurs. Occasionally, the sellers may make mistakes such as sending wrong quantity, size or design.

Wrong Delivery?

Receiving a wrong items can be heartbreaking, especially when you waited 10 days for your item but it’s not the color you want when you receive it. Even if you can contact the seller for a exchange, shipping fee for you to ship back the item to china may actually cost more than the product itself.

Double Protection

65daigou is here to resolve this problem. Having inspection coverage of quantity, color, size, design and obvious visual defects, 65daigou strive to ensure what customers buy is what they get, removing the fear of shopping internationally. When you buy an item, we will receive your item in china first, ensuring that nothing goes wrong before shipping back to Singapore. If there is any defect or mistakes, 65daigou will inform you about it and do the exchange immediately with the seller. This will save your time and money.
This Inspection service is definitely handy as this time round one of the seller sent the wrong shipment and I was informed of the wrong delivery by 65daigou which they had then replaced with the seller. It's really a very thoughtful experience as you get updates from 65daigou on the status of all the items. It's definitely more reassuring to know the movement of your order at every steps and 65daigou makes sure that's the case.
This time round, I focused on buying goods that are of better quality instead of those clothings which are super cheap and might be of inferior quality.
Of course reading the local reviews helped as well.

So here are my loots from Taobao via 65daigou. Has been a long time since I took any #OOTD, so here they are.
This jumper cost price is $7.61. How affordable! The quality was surprisingly not bad.

Next, Checkered top $7 with grey culottes $17.61. I admit the culottes was bought at too high a price but thankfully the quality was good and comfy. As for the top it was in t-shirt cotton material.

I also bought the A smart-cover for my LG G4 at $12.90 product cost. Without knowing I bought a cover that covers NFC and wireless charging which is all good except I don't even have a wireless charger to try out! I had thought the cover can charge up the phone by itself. Oops the very non-tech savvy me.. hee. If it's just for the basic QuickCircle function it would have cost me $4 less.
Anyway I am very pleased with the quality of the cover and the functions work great with many gifts as promised by the seller.
Here's the deal for the savvy shoppers, 65daigou has revised its shipping and make it lower than before.
