The inaugural flight marks the start of Scoot’s four-times-weekly operations between Singapore and Honolulu via Osaka, as well as Scoot’s first non-stop Singapore-Osaka services on top of existing three-times-weekly services via Bangkokand Kaohsiung.

The Singapore-Osaka-Honolulu route will be operated on a twin-aisled Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with a total capacity of 329 seats.

“We are excited about entering the U.S. market with a destination as special as Hawai‘i,” said Mr Lee Lik Hsin, Scoot CEO. “We look forward to connecting our two communities which are both known for their rich multi-cultural heritage. We are confident that travellers from Singapore and the region are eager to visit Hawai‘i as a world-famous vacation destination.”
